Cancellation Policy

Regular reservation

Free cancellation of a reservation is possible up to 2 days before the expected arrival, i.e. up to 4:00 p.m. that day. In case of late cancellation or no-show, you will be charged a cancellation fee in the amount of the 1st night of the reservation. For larger groups, individual conditions can be applicable.

 

Group reservation

Based on the booking request (electronically, by email), the accommodation provider reserves the requested available date for the customer for a maximum period of 5 days. During this period, a deposit (30% of the accommodation price) must be paid to the hotel’s bank account. By paying the deposit, the customer confirms that they have familiarized themselves with the provided services, the accommodation price, and these payment and accommodation terms, which form an integral part of the contractual relationship between the accommodation provider and the customer.

The client has the right to cancel or modify a confirmed reservation at any time without cancellation fees, provided this is done in writing by email at least 7 days before the arrival date. Without payment of the deposit, the booking cannot be accepted, and if the deposit payment deadline expires without payment, the reservation will be cancelled.

An invoice for the remaining balance up to 100% of the accommodation price will be issued upon the guests’ departure, with a due date of 14 days from the invoice issue date.

 

Group reservation – sporting events, festivals, ...

Based on a written order (electronically, by email), hotel reserves the requested available term for the customer for a maximum of 5 days. During this time a deposit of 50 % of the accommodation price must be paid to the hotel. By paying the deposit, the customer confirms that he has familiarized himself with the services provided, the price for accommodation, payment and accommodation conditions, which are an integral part of the contractual relationship between the accommodation provider and the customer. The client has the right to cancel or modify a confirmed reservation at any time 20 days before the arrival date without cancellation fees and it must be in writing by e-mail. Without payment of the deposit, the order cannot be accepted, and and if the deposit remains unpaid after the 5 day deadline has passed, the reservation is cancelled.

The remaining payment of the accommodation price will be invoiced 40 days prior to arrival with a payment due within 5 days. In the case of reservations made less than 30 days before arrival, payment of 100 % of the price is required within 3 days of making the reservation. After paying 100 % of the accommodation price, the reservation cannot be canceled or changed, the deposit is non-refundable.

 

Confirmation and cancellation of reservation

Either an automatic e-mail confirmation generated by the relevant online reservation system or an e-mail confirmation directly from the Jan Maria**** hotel is considered a reservation confirmation. Cancellation or modification of a confirmed reservation can also only be done in writing, i.e. usually by e-mail or through the reservation system that was used for the reservation. Cancellation and modification of a reservation that was entered through aggregation systems or external providers (e.g. such as Booking, Hotels, Expedia, etc.) must be canceled with this external provider.

 

Check-in / check-out

Time of arrival at the hotel (check-in) and clearing of the room (check-out). Arrival at the hotel (check-in) is possible from 2 p.m. The guest is obliged to vacate the room (check-out) by 11 a.m. on the last day of the guest‘s valid reservation.
